Taste the Tradition and Authenticity of WoodenKnife Indian Fry Bread Dough

September 19, 2024

Discover a rich history and savory tradition that has been passed down from generation to generation with WoodenKnife Indian Fry Bread Dough from Baker Boy.

WoodenKnife Mfg. Company, a Native American-owned business started by Ansel WoodenKnife and located in the shadows of the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota, has long marketed a popular dry mix for making Indian Fry Bread. Based on an authentic Sioux recipe passed down through several generations, the mix became very popular among those looking for a more convenient way of producing a delicious Indian Fry Bread.

Due to the popularity of this Indian Fry Bread mix, Baker Boy is committed to making this proprietary WoodenKnife Indian Fry Bread Dough that matches the WoodenKnife Indian Fry Bread mix but provides more consistency and makes the product easier to execute for operators challenged by labor.

The reputation of the Indian Fry Bread and Indian Tacos made from the mix extends well beyond the Native American community with the dough now sold throughout the Midwestern United States. Let’s look at what else you can do with this versatile frozen bread dough.

The most popular use of Indian Fry Bread, Indian Tacos are easy to make and a real crowd pleaser at county fairs, casinos and events.
